Susan M. Taylor, director of the New Orleans Museum of Art, received the Legion of Honor, Frances highest decoration, for her outstanding contributions to French culture and international friendship. Under her leadership, the museum has hosted numerous exhibitions showcasing French art, including The Orléans Collection and Nicolas Floc’h: Fleuves-Océan, Mississippi Watershed. Taylors commitment to cultural exchange was further demonstrated by welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron to the museum. She was also promoted to the rank of Officier within the Order of Arts and Letters in two thousand twenty-three.
