Dr. Robert Graham, a respected physician, encounters Roger Holcombe, a man who was clinically dead for four minutes before being revived. Following this near-death experience, Roger discovers he has developed an uncanny ability: he can discern when someone is lying and feels compelled to confront falsehoods.
