In the first episode, Charlie talks with geneticist Tim Beard about food production and issues faced by the industry as the population numbers are rising. By 2050 we are going to have to produce at least 60% more food to eradicate food poverty, we also need to work to reverse the climate crisis we have caused. What can we do to ensure food production grows along with population numbers in a way that is sustainable and whilst reducing our environmental impact?
