PATANJALI’S YOGASUTRAS | SADHNAPADA | SUTRA 2.13
सति मूले तद्विपाको जात्यायुर्भोगाः ॥१३॥
Sati mūle tadvipāko jātyāyurbhogāḥ ||13||
“So long as the root exists, its fruition is birth, life-span, and life-experience.”
The purpose of this sutra is to explain the kinds of karmas or actions that are afflicted and how they present in and influence present and future lives.
