Week 4 is in the books!

Jon is licking his wounds, while Schif is still celebrating. Fan life is what it is, but the guys are here to break it all down. Schif maintains his slim edge in Flip 'Em & Pick 'Em, as Jon ate most of the upsets. One good call was the Panthers over the Lions. The guys are worried about the Lions as well as some other teams (Hi Texans, Bucs and Chargers!).

Schif has to give props to Shanahan, while Lamar Jackson's situation has the entire fan base holding its breath. The Chiefs look like they are back at their old ways, despite a Raiders team that has more bite than anyone predicted.

The guys begin by recapping the Bears' victory over the Eagles with their THIRD STRING QUARTERBACK. Shout out to those guys and that really fun coach over there who looks like the real deal. Or... are the Eagles in trouble?

Then Schif updates us all on the news from around the league. Unfortunately it's mostly injuries updates in a reminder of how tough of a sport these athletes are playing. Schif gets out his trusty AMERICAN quarter and flips to see who will make the first pick in Flip 'Em & Pick 'Em, where Schif evened things up after a remarkable week. The guys then make their picks. There are some surprises and asterisks as always.

The guys are back to break down all of the action from week 2. They discuss the controversial call in the Ravens/Saints game that was a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation that the league put itself in. What should they have done? They also discuss some surprising teams that have undefeated records (Hi Raiders) and some winless underachievers (Hi Texans).

Some coaching battles ensued, with Flores besting Johnson, but at what cost? Potential future face of the league, Caleb Williams went down with a non-contact hamstring injury that made us all hold our collective fan breaths while Caleb screamed to the heavens while sprawled on the turf. Exaggerate much?

The guys are back after a weekend of meaningful football! The season got off to a slow start on Wednesday and then EXPLODED on Sunday. The guys are definitely here for this.

Both Jon and Schif's teams suffered losses today. Thankfully they have this podcast to distract them from the ills of their teams. The distractions were aplenty as the batch of new coaches led their teams to victories and losses. There were a few big wins, some nail-biters and some head-scratchers throughout the weekend. Some hype trains were reminded of the concept of any given Sunday, while other teams were set out to put the league on notice. Jon & Schif report on all of it.
