In part 1 of the INDEPENDENCE episode, recorded on July 4th, Bryan and A.D. welcome Carlos Brown, host of 'The Carlos Brown Show' that will be coming to the Black College Sports Network's family of shows beginning in mid-July.  The primary topic of discussion after the introductions is the start of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) laws that allow for student-athletes to earn compensation for themselves. There certainly are layers to the topic and the guys just scratch the surface of what is to be uncovered as another new normal takes over college athletics.
