Chapter 1 of Romans has been such an eye-opener for me. Of course, I knew we were living in a world of sin, but Romans 1:18 to 32 zooms in to explain the stages through which man falls away from God.

May God give you the grace to hear the truth. The truth is not always easy to receive since it exposes but when it comes to the word of God, the truth can set you free and break the chains of bondage to sin.

Now I have made a few errors - I meant more than two genders and also God does not rejoice in the death of the wicked.

There is no greater blessing than this; Jesus Christ. He is our all and all.

When the enemy brings back traumatizing moments or sins of the past, the word of God is the best way to counter his attacks - this is mental wellness.

A lie may seem small, but it takes a "harmless lie" to sustain another "harmless lie," and before you know it, it's a whole building built on lies.

There's a distance between the promise and its manifestation.

My turn

I'm holding my bowl

As I stand in the queue

Sometimes I try to peer ahead but my neck always hurts

Turns out, I can't see the future

So I have to keep telling myself, "Wait for your turn"

Or "Your turn is coming"

They say you can't wait idle

That's why I'm writing these poems

I gotta trust that one day, it'll be my turn

Even when I don't know when 'my turn will be

Waiting is a gift from God.

If I titled this journey "my femininity journey", I'd be lying because I can't recall a moment where I intentionally worked on my womanhood. Jesus did it. And to be honest I never thought I was that far off until in hindsight and my new attitude I noticed some changes in how I desired to look and present myself. This episode is a journey of God restoring my identity as in gender.

Just like a wedding is the beginning of marriage - till do us part, it is the same with salvation. It is the beginning of a Christian journey.

Most people have interpreted it as an end. "As long as I get to heaven." There's life to live here and we ought to live it unto Christ Jesus.

Not all suffering is bad. And definitely, not all suffering has been ordained from the pit of hell. There's suffering in waiting on God. This is the most rewarding suffering. You get to learn about God things you wouldn't learn anywhere else.

It is better to submit to God if you're in a season of suffering because He remains faithful. It's written that even when we are faithless He remains faithful for He cannot deny Himself. He's going to bring what He promised to accomplishment but before then He needs to prepare the soil of your heart to receive whatever He has promised.

If the earth is one, we have one main source of light in the day and one source of light in the night, if we have one human race then there can only be one God. If there is one God, then one absolute truth. Therefore we can confidently state that Jesus is the creator of all as He is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.

But if we choose to go with our ancestors' gods, there should be many earths, many sources of light, and several types of human beings. The earth should be segregated to fit as many gods of different nations tribes and languages. As Africans, when we make the statements that we should go back to our gods then we should be able to accept the reality of our decision.
