finally finished!
This saga is an easy read if you can keep up with the "time traveling." The characters are interesting, the plot flows well, and the lady finds true love in the end. Spanning over 100years, Becky Lee Weyrich keeps you on you toes jumping back and forth from the 1960's - 1860's and back again several times.
Entertaining, but don' believe I will read her other books.
Authors KarenWhite and Elin Hilderbrand also use similar styles of time traveling. They are a bit more talented. This was a fun break from the crime thrillers I have been reading this summer, so it certainly accomplished my purpose. I usually read 3-4 books a week, but this has been a busy few weeks for me.
Dont do it!
Sadly to say this book just doesn't work for me. Another review mentioned that the author got an idea stuck in her head and crammed it together like a puzzle. But it just doesn't work. Way too many coincidences to be believable. Even in nursing homes in the south people don't sit around talking about the civil war. I was too tired from reading it to check her facts. My vote is no and I usually love time travel romance.
Must read
I enjoyed this book very much. I found that there were many male chatters in this book. I had s hard time into the story at first, but you just have to be patient and let the story build and come to you. once you get know the people. the story will become real to you and you will be in a hurry to get to the, but at the same time wanting it to go on forever. Good reading! Gary
PRETTY GOOD READ!
It was a very interesting tale that kept me reading. The end was unexpected but satisfying to the end result.
A great adventure from beginning to end. You will enjoy.
Remarkable. Skilled storyteller. Allows the reader to witness the action first hand. The more you read the better it gets. That's the secret of successful writing when the author draws the reader into the story from beginning to end and Becky L. Weyrich did just that in Swan's Way. I highly recommend this book to ALL, and I promise you will not be disappointed.
