Swapan Parekh : "Too many good frames are boring!"

Listen Later

In this episode, The Photobook Podcast features Swapan Parekh, a recipient of the prestigious World Press Photo award and an alumnus of the International Center of Photography, New York. Based in Mumbai, Swapan picked up the camera as a teenager as a tribute to his late father, Kishor Parekh. His early years as a photographer were shaped by a distinctive documentary aesthetic, which he later introduced to the world of print advertising. Author of Between Me & I and A Little Peace on Earth That's Mine, Swapan's work has been published, recognised and awarded across multiple realms of documentary, advertising, commissioned and personal photography.
