1. Pour 60ml rye whiskey or bourbon, 20ml sugar syrup and 30ml lemon juice into cocktail shaker.

2. (Optional) If you want to add egg white, add it and first shake without ice.

3. Add ice and shake well.

4. Strain into a rock glass filled with ice.

5. Carefully top with 15ml dry red wine.

6. Optionally garnish with a lemon peel.
