Meet Scott Rees - an engineer, and legally blind athlete who remarkably swam a staggering 30 kilometres across the Georgia Straight to raise awareness and funds for Canadian Guide Dogs!

His extraordinary journey, fueled by sheer determination and a quest to give back to the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind – an organization that empowered his independence, is nothing short of awe-inspiring. 

This incredible feat, beyond the physical challenges, has successfully raised a soaring amount of over $160,000! In true celebratory fashion, Scott toasted this monumental achievement with a special Guide Dog Session Ale courtesy of Tapworks Brewing Company.
