We have been exploring a Genesis-shaped perspective in a series called on the goodness of work. Paul has a jarring challenge in his letter to the church at Corinth -- “whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do everything to the glory of God.” We are to live and move and have our being in such a way that people begin to glimpse God. This goes back to the image of God language in Genesis. Here is a calling to make the invisible God a bit more visible. God becomes present and beautiful in what we do and how we do it. So how is this done in all aspects of our lives (and not just the overtly spiritual stuff)? Plan to be with us as we share some thoughts about God’s glory in a study called -- swimming in God’s kavod.
