In today's episode, it's Tom's pleasure to speak with Stewart Wilson, a veteran of the Dhofar War in southwestern Oman, and author of Dhofar Voices and Dhofar Alliance. Stewart provides an overview of the conflict, based upon his experience as Operations Officer of the only entirely Balochi regiment, the Frontier Force. They also discuss the participation of the Imperial Iranian Task Force, the subject of Stewart's second book; and the role played by special operations forces, Britain's legendary Special Air Service. This episode isn't to be missed, nor are either of Stewart's groundbreaking books on the conflict.
