A great question to ask when you read the gospels is, "What did Jesus mean when He said that?" To help us answer that question, we remember that Jesus is King and context is everything. Tune into this episode for an example of how the rest of the New Testament can help us get a fuller picture of what Jesus' teachings mean for us today!

We're entering into the next movement of the Sermon on the Mount. And it kicks off with what seems to be a contradiction. But, when we do the work of coming back to Jesus, we begin to see just how good, true, and beautiful His news really is.

In a world where there's so many voices trying to tell us who we are and who we need to be, the invitation to who you were actually created to be is on the table today. Because Jesus is the Light of the World and He's inviting us to become like Him.And that's really good news.
