Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Romans 7 and 8 today. Our natural desire is to sin. The reason? Sin is fun. You read that right, sin is fun to commit, otherwise it wouldn’t be a problem. We as Christians have Jesus, but we are just as capable of committing sin as those without Christ. Jesus pulled the ultimate reverse uno card, and became the sinners that we are. So when we get drunk, Jesus becomes a drunkard. When we badmouth others, Jesus becomes a badmouth. He took the weight of the world’s sins upon himself, just so that we can be free from it. So if you’re facing temptation, remember what it was that Jesus went through, and experience freedom.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20
Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
