This episode of Places is the sound of my neighborhood from the balcony, where I strung up my hammock to relax in for a while. There's human sounds, bird sounds, transportation sounds, weather sounds, and me sounds.

Review of The Bride movie and I wake up with a riff in my head after I have a dream with a Henry Rollins cameo. I put myself through my first 10k trail running race and see some kids riding Amish Scooters on a trail in Pennsylvania. It's been a long, hard winter.

Back on the C&O. Of course I give bird rundowns throughout, brake squeaks, and frogs! Giving out Hell Yeah’s left and right. Choo Choo’s and Rusty Blackbirds. Common Merganser mating and Barred Owls? Off to White’s Ferry Grill for once, and for all! And boy, I love a Reuben. I talk bike repairs. Looking at frogs through binoculars, the first stands of Snowdrops, brutal/intense nature? And a dream? Hell yeah!

I figure out (finally) how to put bird seed out to attract birds to my balcony. I set the recorder near the tray, and you can hear them fly up, peck around, eat, and fly away. It's mainly House Sparrows, and maybe Northern Cardinals. So far.

Busted my bottom bracket, so I try to repair it and hope to continue the #BackyardBRRR Challenge. I do the dishes while I’m waiting. Test rode down to the theater to see 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, and do my wrap-up reviews of 2025 movies.
