Host and Award Winning Author & Journalist GW Pomichter interviews Randal Scott and Michael Moody of The Duelists, a Sword Fighting Comedy Duo, during the 2019 Brevard Renaissance Fair in Melbourne Florida.

Randal Scott: With 30 years of professional experience in stage, film and multimedia productions, Randal's first experiences performing began on the renaissance faire circuit. An accomplished equestrian, Randal performed at Medieval Times Dinner Theatre, as well as the 'Tournament of the Horse' at the Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire. Fight choreography credits include "Romeo and Juliet", "Hamlet", "Macbeth" , "Richard III" , "Othello", "Sinbad", and "Treasure Island" CD-ROM credits include "Buried in Time, Journeyman project II", and "Chess Wars." Randal has provided weapons, props and expertise for films including Don Juan Demarco, The Cable Guy, and Deus Volt. Specializing in live stage combat productions, Randal has choreographed shows for Convivia (Singapore), Miss America Pageants, and the Festival of Cultures, a historical/educational show that tours the United States. Renaissance Festival performances include the Maryland, Michigan, Florida, and Connecticut   Renaissance festivals. 

Michael Moody: With a B.A. in Theatre from Alma College, Michael works regularly as both actor and fight director. Film and TV roles include "Abe Lincoln, Vampire Hunter," "22 Jump Street," "Memphis Beat," Ghost Adventures," "Under employed,"  "Last Night Out" and “Circles,” and the web series "Bigfoot, IL." As a fight Director, Michael brought a historical flavor to the fights in both “The Many Deaths of Shakespeare” as well as “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.” As an Instructor, Michael has taught Stage Combat as an Adjunct Professor at Lansing Community College, German Longsword and Pole arms for the Art of Combat, and Singlestick at the International Swordfighting & Martial Arts Convention. In addition to the Western Martial Arts, Michael is also a passionate student of Wing Chun, studying here in the U.S., as well as Hong Kong under Grandmaster Ip Ching.
