Syd Samuels is the daughter of a project manager from Cambridgeshire and a psychotherapist from Sierra Leone. She has packed a lot into her 25 years. At the age of 11 she appeared on the Junior Dragons' Den. Peter Jones invested in her idea ! At her school in south London she wondered about becoming an actor but instead studied English and Philosophy at university before being offered a place with a Japanese Bank. After 2 years Syd decided to leave her secure job and began to run a tech start as well as becoming a career coach.  Not much seems to daunt Syd. She once hitchhiked from Sheffield to Slovenia  (via Berlin of course ) for charity. 

" Think Less, Do More " says Syd.  She described herself as " not risk averse". Indeed !
