A poem by Steve

In a far off land with defeat we paid,

When we played the 36, at home, in Adelaide.

But this is our home, our turf our place,

We will walk off the court with a smile on our face.

36 started strong and quickly owned the lead

it was not hard to tell, they were keen for a feed.

“We lost once before! It won’t happen again!”

was the war cry, at time out, from our captain, Big Ben

It began with free t-shirts, the crowd started to roar.

Then the boys started playing a game that made Adelaide sore.

Jason Cadee scored a 3. He’s had his mighty mite.

There will be much celebration, the lion won’t sleep tonight.

So Adelaide, get on your A-Wimba Merry Way

Because this is Sydney! This is how we play!
