SES volunteers have been working around the clock to help locals caught in flood-devastated areas along the Hawkesbury Nepean floodplain. More than 1800 calls for help were made over the weekend. Meanwhile, in Brisbane, an alert for flash flooding was issued overnight with parts of South East Queensland receiving 84 millimetres of rain in just 30 minutes.
