Yahweh’s ultimate intention for His church is for it to primarily be a place of beholding His glory. Anything else that we may give ourselves to is and must be second to what is sovereignly first. Just as in the days of old when synagogues were built to try and preserve a people following the glory departing - we too, quickly, settle for being content with the fire being absent among us. 
The fire is the only thing that distinguishes us!
