What is BeeStation?

This is a pre-configured hard drive that you simply have to plug in, run a quick setup, and go. There is no subscription fees and you control your data right from the drive.

BeeStation from the App

Connect your BeeStation to the iOS or Android app. You can also set up to 8 people to access and add to the drive. You can even backup and restore files and photos from your phone, tablet or computer.

The station connects to your home network via 1Gb Ethernet cable (no WiFi option). Additional storage can be added via the USB ports.

You get 4TB of storage, and 1GB of RAM inside the BeeStation. You can also sync with other cloud drive services for backup and accessibility.

Using AI to Keep You Safe

The built-in AI performs security checks such as photo recognition using the integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). No information is sent over the internet, and the NPU does not interfere with other applications.

Use it with No Internet

Using the private IP address, you can access the station for use. That way, you can continue to work if you are going through an outage, or simply have the network air-gapped.

BeeStation is Synology’s option to set up a cloud drive for a friend or family member. Just like you might’ve done when digital picture frames became popular. Except now you can access files on the phone.
