Today's episode highlights the Syrian Civil War and the humanitarian crisis with Syrian civilians. We go over the history of Syria, the causes of this civil war, the different sides and foreign powers involved, and finally the lives of Syrian refugees fleeing the violence. We bring to you guest speaker Vicki Gilbert, a professor at Wofford College. She has visited Syria and other countries in the Middle East. Her answers give us a first hand account of  one of the largest crises in the world.
