Friendships are essential to human living, it's how we reflect on ourselves being human. Romantic relationships are a level up from friendships but I believe friendships are the base and glue that keeps it together. It is super difficult when you care a lot about a person to refuse to continue the relationship in the way you intended; if a level of the relationship that you require cannot be. Much self-discipline is required to be able to stop, reflect, be direct about your emotional, and mental requirements to continue. #shegestitpod
