On top of a nice voice, Corobi also writes his own songs. Eye told him there is so much room for him in the music industry because real R&B ain’t as popping as it used to be...at least when it comes to the men. We used to have Joe, Jodeci, Tyrese, Jon B, Musiq, etc. but it seems like this melodic rap is taking over and is more relevant. So, dudes who can sing nowadays also rap. This makes guys who can only sing stand out more, to me. Eye feel like Corobi can make a name for himself regardless but just because of his unique talent, he has a wider lane.
