The table is a metaphor for a relationship.
It is where we sit, serve, and are satisfied by what each person brings.
No one person is the table.
Neither should one person do all the serving, sitting, and eating.
You can't be the type of person who wants the benefits of what another person brings to the table, but not allow them to sit and eat with you.
The table is for two.
