I absolutely love doing my Table Talks episodes here on the Podcast. I think it is most because it is my way of having people share their stories for I know that it is often in the story that we gain connection and growth. Today is no exception.
My guest for this episode is Naiomi Gonzalez. Naiomi (and yes that is the correct spelling) is a professional nerd. They have a BA in Religious Studies from Moravian College (Now Moravian University), a M Div from Brite Divinity School, and MA in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies from George Mason University, and a MA in History from Texas Christian University. They are Peurto Rican, queer, and nonbinarish. They have a passion for helping other Christians, especially those questioning fundamentalist Christian theology, expand their understanding of God. They affirm a radical God that calls out homophobia transphobia, sexism, and imperialism and exploitation of all types.
