Jeffrey Shaffer
Meet Jeffrey Shaffer, analytics leader and educator at the University of Cincinnati! When he’s not teaching, he serves as the Kirk and Jacki Perry Professor of Analytics and Director of AI Strategy at the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business. He teaches courses on data visualization and artificial intelligence, speaks globally on analytics and AI, and co-authors books including The Big Book of Dashboards and Dashboards That Deliver. In 2025, he received the Michael L. Dean Excellence in Classroom Education and Learning Graduate Teaching Award. Before joining academia full-time, he spent nearly three decades leading analytics and technology teams, including serving as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of IT & Analytics at Unifund.
