Anyone paying attention to current events knows that the world’s descent into chaos is accelerating. Even former President Bill Clinton unequivocally stated that the “world is coming apart” as we enter extremely perilous times. Headlines are becoming dire, and even the rich and powerful are leaving their homes for safer havens, away from cities and populated areas.  That there is danger looming ahead can hardly be questioned by any rational person.

As Christians who believe in the Holy Bible, the Word of God and Jesus Christ, what are we supposed to do? What should we be doing as many are sensing the impending peril just ahead of us?

I can think of few other questions that are causing divisiveness within families, among friends, and in particular, within the body of the church. Just within the last several months, I have observed a growing and deepening division among Christians who appear to be wrestling with this issue.
