Detailed meanings of Basmala (Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim). An analysis of each word when considered separately and together. Why does Basmala prefaces every chapter of Quran save one.
1. The letter "baa" means: - Seeking help - 'With' - for blessing - Proximity - Extraneous - Oath
2. Implicitness/Forwarding-delay - Verb + Basmala - Noun + Basmala - Basmala + Verb - Basmala + Noun
3. Lafz al-Jalalah (the divine word): "Allah" - Mus-taqq (derived) - Ja'amid (not derived)
4. al-Rahman: Comes from 'Raham' (mercy) and pertains to the divine mercy that coves every creation (their existence in and of itself is the mercy from their Creator)
5. al-Raheem: Also comes from 'Raham' (mercy) and pertains to the divine mercy that is specific to believers.
