June 1st was world milk day – but Feast Meets West hosts Ellen Chu and Andrew Ryan are both lactose intollerant. Today they brave their fears with a cup of the uniquely Taiwanese Papaya Milk!

Today’s menu: In our first course, we’ll tell you all about World Milk Day… do you think Taiwanese people get enough milk in their diet? In our second course we talk with GoldThread reporter Daphne Lee, about a recent article in which she said that Papaya Milk might say more about Taiwan’s unique culture and history than boba tea!
