Sentencing Commission
The Speaker is sponsoring HB 274 to reconfigure the sentencing commission.
HB274, sponsored by House Speaker Mike Schultz, R-Hooper, would change the makeup of the Utah Sentencing Commission by removing all defense lawyers from the commission and replacing them with more members from law enforcement.
