Blind Crime

Take Care of Maya - Trial Week One (Days 1 &2)

Listen Later

"Take Care of Maya," a Netflix Documentary that took the world by storm earlier this year is now in the courtroom and I'm going to be covering it every week. The story of Maya and the Kowalski family is devastating and heartbreaking to say the least. From Maya being held captive at John's Hopkins All Children's Hospital in Venice, FL, to the tragic, untimely death of Beata, Maya's mother, to suicide, this case is one that will make anyone with a heart want to weep. Come along with me as I break down each week of the court proceedings!
The Kowalski family is suing JHACH on behalf of Maya Kowalski and her mother, Beata Kowalski, who committed suicide due to the emotion distress caused by false accusations of child abuse.
