Snurch* - snake church
The feathered and winged deities have long symbolized wisdom and protection across various cultures, serving as powerful reminders of the interconnectedness of the divine and the earthly realms. From the Two Ladies, Egyptian goddesses Wadjet and Nekhbet, combined to embody protection and rebirth with her soaring wings, to the Mesoamerica god K’ulk’ukan/Queztalcoat’l, representing moral lessons and the importance of wisdom, education, cultural richness, and natural connectivity. These figures inspire reverence and strength, hope and guidance, encouraging us to seek knowledge and embrace our journeys with courage. In honoring these celestial beings through a tattoo, I aim to celebrate their enduring influence in my life, a constant reminder of the profound significance of learning around the world.
