In this episode of Take Note, I explore the different types of books found in the Bible and why understanding their distinctions matters for how we read and interpret Scripture.
Rather than approaching the Bible as one uniform style of writing, this reflection looks at how history, poetry, wisdom, prophecy, and letters each serve a different purpose.
Recognizing these categories helps us slow down, read with greater clarity, and avoid placing expectations on the text that it was never meant to carry.
