Have you ever felt like you're behind in life?
Maybe you're looking at your career and wondering where you're supposed to be by now. Maybe you're starting over after a relationship, a job change, or a difficult season. Maybe you're younger and watching everyone online appear to have their whole future mapped out.
Here's the truth I've had to learn for myself:
You don't have to have your entire life figured out to take your next step.
In Episode 17, Rev. Rich P. talks honestly about changing direction, comparing ourselves to other people, questioning our plans, and learning to trust the next step even when we can't see the whole road.
This conversation is for anyone who has ever wondered whether they're running late in their own life.
And honestly?
That's probably most of us.
- Why we put so much pressure on ourselves to have a complete life plan
- How social media can distort our perception of success
- Why changing direction can be part of growth
- What Peter's story teaches us about becoming
- How faith can help us move forward without having every answer
- The difference between healthy growth and constantly feeling like you're not enough
- Why your age doesn't determine whether you're allowed to begin again
- How to identify your next honest step
You don't need the whole map. You need the next honest step.
Your life doesn't have to unfold according to somebody else's timeline.
There is still room for growth, discovery, purpose, and unexpected possibilities.
Think of one area of your life you've been pressuring yourself to figure out.
Write it down.
Then ask yourself:
“What is the next honest step I can actually take?”
Keep the answer simple.
You don't need ten steps.
Take the one you can see.
Then look again.
That's faith in action.
Scripture is filled with people who moved forward without having the complete picture.
Abraham went.
Moses returned.
Mary said yes.
Peter stepped out of the boat.
Their stories remind us that faith often gives us enough light for the next step rather than the entire journey.
