In this episode of Celestial Citizen podcast, we continue our four-part companion podcast series to our short film, “Take Up Space,” which focuses on gender discrimination and sexual harassment in the space industry.  Both the podcast series and short film presents first-hand accounts of anonymous women and non-binary individuals from across the industry.

In this third episode, titled "Hope for Change," listeners hear from individuals who have unique perspectives on the space industry and are passionate about working towards a more inclusive and equitable space future.  Speakers share their experiences with gender and racial discrimination, the importance of representation and diverse narratives, and the desire to break down the barriers that prevent women from climbing the ladder and reaching senior leadership positions.

This episode encourages listeners to think beyond the traditional image of space scientists and astronauts and to recognize the importance of diverse skill sets and perspectives in the industry.
