Scripture: Luke 9:23–27

Reflection

Jesus calls His followers to a path that is honest and demanding: deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him. This is not self-hatred, but the freedom of releasing the illusion that life revolves around our own comfort and control. In surrendering the small life we try to protect, we discover the deeper life Christ offers. This episode reflects on how love in the wilderness invites us into daily acts of faithful surrender. The cross we carry becomes the path into true life with Him.

Prayer of Presence

Crucified and risen Lord,

Teach me the freedom of holy self-denial. Show me where I cling to my own way. Give me grace to take up my cross today and follow You into true life. – Amen
