There is a lot happening in the collective right now, but I maintain that beauty can be our respite. Today I’m reviewing the June Boxwalla Beauty Box featuring three products from three different brands – Nini Organics, Pai, and African Botanics. I explain a bit about Boxwalla if you haven’t heard of the company before, and go into detail about my user experience with each product in this month’s box. I then delve into each a brand a bit further, highlighting interesting products and discussing other things I’ve tried (in the case of Pai I’ve tried close to 75% of the brand during the time I’ve been beauty blogging!). Unfortunately Boxwalla is at capacity for this box, but I provide details in the episode about when enrollment opens for the August box. Lastly, I wanted to let you know that next week’s episode will be spent addressing the current landscape of BIPOC racism and racial activism from a sociological perspective, as well as some of the problematics that have emerged in the (eco) beauty space.
