Sometimes on the FaithWalk we act as though men control our destiny and not God. So we cut corners or look for an “edge”, even if it means compromising who we are. Abram models well the value of taking the high road. He let Lot choose first when it came to picking land, knowing that God would be the one to determine the blessing. His selflessness protected him, and God’s blessing remained upon him as a result.
