MERCY AND TRUTH HAVE MET TOGETHER… PART 3. SESSION 287

Psalm 85:10, 11

Mercy and truth are met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth springeth out of the earth; And righteousness hath looked down from heaven.

Indeed, this is a new day, and heaven has begun to direct our steps towards the place of connecting to the Father’s heartbeat. The heart of the Lord in this hour, even as we continue to witness the loss of more lives through this Covic-19 pandemic, is to have a people who can engage heaven in the spirit of a heartfelt intercession.

Intersession is a spirit of divine intervention, and we are given such privilege to employ the power of intercession in changing the state of human affairs. If we're going to move further into the realities of God's counsel for this new day, even as we continue to witness the devastation taking place across the earth, we must have a posture of men and women called to pray and intercede for their nations.

The only way we can fully understand the nature of what the Lord is doing globally, particularly with the pandemic of the coronavirus is to allow the Holy Spirit to flood our spirits with compassion for intercession. In intercession, the spirit prophetic direction will usually start flowing for us to know how the Lord will have us engage in response to the ministry of restoration of lives and the socio-economic destruction.  This is the day to stand in the gap for the sins of our Cities and nations as we watch the destruction of many lives across the earth. There is no way we can ever understand the full reality of what is taking place in this day of judgment without allowing the Lord to take us to the position where compassion is mixed with passion in the place of prayer.
