There's a massive internet rumor that the spicy red dust on these chips is fake. I put Takis Fuego, Doritos Dinamita, and Flamin' Hot Cheetos under the microscope at up to 1000x magnification to find out the truth.
I ran all three samples blind as Evidence A, B, and C. What the microscope showed: the dust is NOT fake. But what's IN the dust is a different story. We found binders, synthetic coatings, and structural differences that tell the real story of how these spicy chips are engineered.
