Episode Summary
For once, nobody is actively trying to kill them.
That lasts about as long as expected.
Battered after the attack on the Ghosts of Ghorelitch headquarters, the party finally gets a moment to breathe, argue, patch wounds, and decide what kind of people they are going to be before someone else decides for them. Seraphina faces the name she escaped, Zeph and Ciaran circle the crown-shaped problem between them, and the group starts to realize that every path forward leads somewhere dangerous.
Then Basagar reaches for answers and finds something stranger than pain.
A flash of color. A distant connection. A name that should not be easy to forget.
But rest is a luxury Virelia cannot afford. When Meesta reveals that the safe house is open, Wilhelm is drunk, and both the king and princess are missing, the party is forced back into the streets before their wounds have even closed.
The flags are down. Smoke rises over the castle. The city is listening.
And someone else has taken the stage.
