I am back and here to talk some classic pro wrestling without all the usual moaning and groaning. This week I went all the way back to 1974 and a match I sit on the show took place in Toronto, but it might’ve actually been Detroit. However I’m really not sure and can’t find what the correct city was. So this may not be the infamous match. I spoke of in the show that totally killed the Toronto territory.
However, the video below is actually much better footage and quality of the match than the one I had watched between the original chic and André the giant I hope you enjoy this. It was definitely fun to watch.
Also, this link to the match includes commentary from Jim Cornette and somebody else I’m not sure exactly who. They also say in this commentary it was Toronto so hopefully that’s correct. If so, this is the infamous match indeed or at least it definitely seems that way.
