This is just me riffing on how I'm having a ton of trouble keeping focused on TTRPG's and what some of the reasons could be. I guess it does ask more questions than if gives answers, but hell - at least it's an honest look at my own place in my own hobby. Sometimes it's helpful just to talk about things.

AAIE Has one system people completely love or hate, and that’s casting spells. So let’s look at that for what and why it is.

Fact is this is a quick what have I been doing update.. persisting that’s what. Trying to plug away at some game ideas and get something out there for AAIE in the holiday season.

Once upon a time I would run multiple games in a week. At that time Index cards were invaluable tools for keeping track of the details and helping to run the game.

This week - I talk a bit about exactly how I used to use them.
