Aislinn goes shopping in the middle of the night and gets a new look. The party stocks up on winter gear for their trek down south to Ventark. While on the road, the Disciples of Sinjin are ambushed in the night by a group known as The Cleansing Flame, and they steal a prized possession from Aislinn. The "demon" in Asilinn reappears.

Ventark is nestled in the southern Felldraco Mountians and has an alliance with three metallic dragons: Miltros the Cunning (bronze), Bardoon the Strong (silver), and KImthal the Wise (gold). Ventark is protected by the Silver Guard, who are warriors that must make a pilgrimage to Bardoon, the ancient silver dragon, to be initiated.
