It was a rough day for Long Island commuters when a large utility pole snapped in half, halting service on the LIRR main line. The pole mentioned was in Wendy's friend's yard! 

A bait and switch situation occurred when Astra when she showed up for her first date, but she handled it in a classy way. 

We comment a bit on the current condition of the dating pool (or should we say sewer?)
