Hello Survivors! Better late than never. We have come to the end of Season 2 of the Daryl and Carol show. While it was a bumpy ride at times, overall, it wasn't a bad season. There are some great moments where we get a glimpse into the emotional struggles of our two favorite OGs (yeah, Rick and Machoone are favorites also), and this chapter rushed through the bad team lineups of boss people, but in the end, Kid Carl was saved to live a new, hopefully long, life at the Commonwealth. Which we will not get to see anything about, which is sad. I guess we can look forward to some adventures in new lands now that our team is back together on this European Road Trip. I am glad we are getting out of France and moving on, and hopfully, with Kid Carl out of the picture, a new storyline will emerge. I kind of got tired of the religious thread and want to get back to basics in storytelling in more TWD fashion.

In any case, this was an okay episode, and we did get some moments to talk about, but with what has happened to what we know is coming, I hope that when they close the book on the Book of Carol, and we get a little better storytelling next season. But as LT and Kyle say, we will see.

For episode 163 of The Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle, LT and Brian talk through The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, Season 1, Episode 6, titled The Last Time. It was written by Scott M. Hey Survivors! It has come to the end of The Ones Who Live, and it was great. While I think a lot of us agree that this was a little bit rushed. The CRM, who have been built up for so many years as this mysterious threat, came off a little bit lacklustered. Not to say what we saw was completely bad, but that we could have used more setup to make the payoff better. In the end this was all about Michonne and Rick. Finding each other, taking on the world as only they can, and making the post apocalypse a better place for everyone. That ending with the reunion of Michonne hugging her kids after being gone for so long (I mean, didn’t it seem like it had been 6+ years or so?) and right behind her, the brave man, who had almost lost everything, finally returning home. I hope they have plans for Rick to be reunited with Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Father Gabrial, and everyone else, but we will have to see if that happens. Maybe we will get more with the upcoming The Book of Carol this summer.

We have good news! Brian was able to join us to discuss the season and this finale send-off, and we couldn’t be happier for his return to the podcast.

Hey survivors! Here is this week's episode titled Become. Rick and Michonne are traveling home but get sideswiped by our good friend Jadis. We have the return (in flashbacks) of our good friend, Father Gabriel, who has been meeting with Anne(Jadis) for many years. This was some great insight into Jadis and gave us a feel of the struggle she has been going through. While yes, she obviously had made her bed, and the rationalizing of the mission of the CRM is more important than anyone else, it was still nice to see. But in all, the story of Jadis has come to an end. We met some new survivors, who were literally called Red(shirts) and dispatched in a matter of seconds. With just one episode left, we are left with the two who are unstoppable, planning to take on the CRM, destroy the evidence of the whereabouts of their home, and close out this chapter with what we assume will be everyone Rick and Michonne love will be safe and sound.

Jadis is still sporting an ugly mug, but I do have to say she is making a great villain for our duo. What does she know? Does she have some secret anterior motive that sides with taking down the CRM, or is she just in it for herself? Michonne is really not happy with how the way Rick is playing this. On one side, he's all I love you. I have to get you in here with me, and we will work together, too, gurl. I need you to leave and forget about me cause I am the only one who can save the world. For episode 159 of The Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle and LT talk through The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, Season 1, Episode 2, titled Gone. It was written by Nana Nkweti and Channing Powell and directed by Bert and Bertie. Michonne finds unexpected help on her search for Rick.

How's it going, survivors! We have a Michonne-centric episode this time, and on her search for Rick, she comes across a marriage band of constant walking around the group. She makes some friends and gets them all killed. LOL, that is the constant with anyone who seems to cross paths with our group. Anyway, the bright side is that Michonne, having almost been killed by the CRM, heartstopping realization at Bridgers Terminal, finally finds Rick. While this was a great and long-awaited reunion, it came at the price of her capture from the CRM. But, with Rick guiding the way to bring her into his world, we can see that the CRM has no idea what they are in for. Well, maybe everyone but Jadis. Oh Jadis, formerly known as the trash lady. She knows Michonne is there, and she has some choice words for Rick. We don’t know how long these two have crossed paths but this adds an extra layer of difficulty for any plan for Rick to escape with Michonne. We will just have to see how all of this plays out.
