Talkin' Neers

This week on Talkin' Neers we are joined again by assistant coach Chuck Weber to recap the Alaska games last week along with the Vermont series this past weekend, we also talk about the upcoming games after the off-weekend against Quinnipiac and Princeton. We are joined by player guest sophomore starting goalie Jack Watson to talk about his season so far and some goalie insights.

This week's episode of Talkin' Neers welcomes back head coach Dave Smith recapping the past week covering the SLU and Clarkson games, as well as the upcoming matchups this weekend against Harvard and Dartmouth. We also talk to junior forward Jakob Lee to talk about his contribution to the team so far this year, putting up impressive points and also taking on a leadership role among the guys.

This week on Talkin' Neers we are joined by assistant coach Liam Thrawl to recap last weekend's ECAC season opener games against Union, this weekend's games against SLU and Clarkson, and a bit about his job here on the coaching staff and his future aspirations. We are also joined by player guest freshman forward John Evans to talk about his choice to come to RPI and the season so far.

This week on a Talkin' Neers special we are joined by two player guests. We talk to junior defenseman Jack Agnew about his stellar start to the season and then we sit down with women's captain Marah Wagner to talk about her year so far and the girl's plans to bounce back for the rest of the season. We also talk to head coach Dave Smith to recap last weekend's USA NTDP exhibition game and talk about the upcoming Union Blackout games. 

On this week's episode of Talkin' Neers, we talk to head coach Dave Smith recapping the past week covering three games, as well as the upcoming matchup against USA NTDP, and a mini dive into the recruiting process from the coach's perspective. We also welcome senior forward TJ Walsh to talk about his hot start to the season including last weekend's hat trick and his leadership advice to the team. 

In the second episode of the season, we welcome back Head Coach Dave Smith to discuss last weekend's wins against Mercyhurst, this coming weekend's games against LIU and Army, and next week's Tuesday game against Canisius. We also have player guest Nick Strom on to discuss his strong performance last weekend, his road to RPI, and how exactly he ended up here after a tough injury.

In the first episode of Talkin' Neers Season 4, we welcome back Head Coach Dave Smith and player guest Sutter Muzzatti along with new co-host Izik. We discuss the upcoming season, a new assistant coach, the future of the program, a recap of the previous weekend's exhibition games, and the upcoming reunion and homecoming games against Mercyhurst.

On the final Talkin' Neers of the season, we talk about the outgoing players from the transfer portal, the incoming players, and upgrading the speed and skill of the roster. We bring in captain Linden Marshall as our guest to break down his RPI career and his great start to pro hockey. Lastly, we have a special segment at the end to break down Coach Smith's contract situation, potential breakout players, other players we're excited to see, and give scouting reports on all the incoming players.

On the penultimate episode of the season, we talk about the Harvard playoff series, overall thoughts on the season, the team's resilience, and preview the offseason and the path forward for the program. Kyle Hallbauer joins us this week to reflect on the season and his 4 years at RPI.
