The greatest mistake we make is living in constant fear that we will make one. We looked at the different types of fear that can plague someone in early recovery. We acknowledged that there's a difference between being afraid and having fear. Early in recovery, and in recovery in general, fear can drive behaviors if not kept in check. Identifying these fears and facing them head on is the only way to overcome your fears. Before we can do that, we have to be aware of what kind of fear we're experiencing so it doesn't manifest itself in a behavior, both consciously and subconsciously. We unpacked the different types of fear, rational, irrational and primal fear.
